sundownz
Revised ETA is late February at this time; they did not make it on my containers that just shipped -- so they will ship in about 4-6 weeks on the next set. sundownz
The 12" prototypes are completed @ the factory and on their way to me... since I nailed things such as surround thickness & compliance down on the 10s these were pretty simple. We did have to use a motor 30mm wider to drive the additional mass; so keep that in mind when I formulate pricing : * The machined arms are just on the prototype. I am not going to spend the extra to do that on production since there is no performance gain. * Factory spec on the D4 * Factory spec on the D2 Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

Reaper
Hey Jacob, liking the new subs. Just have a few questions for you. I've recently decided the stock system in my camaro needs some bottom end. Looking at doing 2 sd -2 or sd-3 10's box size would be .5cubes sealed each. The plan is to put them on 1k. First question which would sound better on 1k? 2nd question can i get them with the large sized dust cap, or would that reduce sq? Thanks in advance. mrclm
I run my SD-2 8 in a .3 box on a Skar 500.1 and it takes it all day long. Amazing sub. Nobody believes it is a single 8 in a box that small. Goes low (well for an 8 anyhow), gets loud, and stays clean. Really all I could want in a sub. But now I want an SD-3...
