Bump4life Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 nope... even with multiple relays the switch/relay that is "on" would not be affected by the other. you could have a on and off button at each end. BigManAC Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 If you wire both switches on their own to the LEDs then you would be able to turn them on with both of the switches. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

BigManAC Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Yes exactly. never knows best Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 he wants them to work independently of each other.... so it could be turned on/off in the front then turned of/off in the rear..... normal open momentary closed switches and a relay that accepts momentary signal will do the trick... also having a delayed turn off relay would allow a time to be set for the lights to turn off, if by chance you forgot to turn them off-
never knows best Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 heres a vid of a delayed relay. this relay is on amazon/ebay for under $10-
RCP Audio Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 Never knows best has got the idea. My first van had one in the back. My last one had one in the front. Now my new one has none lol so I'm trying to do both. There had to be a way cause they do it for house lights. So I assumed it was the same kinda thing Thanks man. 345am here now and just knocked off. I'll have a look on eBay tomorrow although shipping to me is always wayyyy to much PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k. 1991 Mazda 323VERY small build thread here: http://www.stevemead...23-small-build/
RCP Audio Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 I'm not worried about leaving them on. They use fuck all power and I've got an aux battery anyway for running my fridge if I need it but it would be cool as long as I can set it long enough that I don't have to keep pressing the button PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. Kyblack76 Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Is there a dope light in the back? Use that 12v to power a relay. Lights you buy and mount to normally open side of contact. when the back door is open, lights come on, off when shut. and youd be able to use the dial switch (or whatever turns your dope lights on) on the dash just a thought?
