mbdblue
I would add them and see how they co-exist. Possibly could mess with the crossover settings and have the Memphis take care of higher frequencies, leave the lower for the 8s. but it all depends on how they sound to you AA-Atomic-Clif Designs-DC-Diamond-Digital Designs-Directed-Eclipse-Fi-Hertz-Hifonics-Kenwood-Memphis-Phoenix Gold-Pioneer-PPI-PSi-Stinger-Sundown-TC Sounds-Viper-Zapco
gckless
So you may run two completely different sets of speakers up front? Definitely replace. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. addh95
i was thinking about pushing the ft1's and pwx's with a hifonics x800.4 at 2 ohms or would 200 rms be to much for the ft1's?
gr8handogoatness
I would put the Memphis comps on an Amp before ding anything else. If it's still not good enough then replace with new stuff. For sure don't run comps off the head unit and decide that you need more so get pro audio stuff. Get an amp and they will sound better louder and more clear.
