Dude this is nuts lol I like it.. I'm sure it'll be a beast.. How Easy is it to remove your amp rack tho in case you have a bad battery somewhere in your trunk?

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

do you have baffle dimensions yet? how big is the port.

i dont know why im so amazed by the fact that your fitting 4 18s in this thing but it has me thinking!!! damnit lol

This is a very large car. I was going to run six 15s in it, I originally bought three CT7000s but got screwed around by a dickhead hence why I downsized.

You'll see the box shortly :)

So I stripped the bitch back.

It has a massive sunroof which I want to keep fully functional. Obviously the roof is going to be a bit weaker because of this, plus I lose a bit of space on the wall. Oh well.

These Lexus' are some of the most solid, best built cars I've ever taken to bits. Was almost a shame to do this.

A good mate of mine pressured me into originally buying this car to build another system since I have been out of the game for a while now...

He also told me I'd better build the box frame from steel

The best choice for the box was steel, since the car was pretty much junked as soon as I cut the floor out of it, I wasn't scared about welding $hit to it lol.

My welder is a little average, but it's still strong, and gives me a good solid base to build my box from.

I wanted the floor to be pretty level through the box, so I stepped it up at the front, the box still is fairly low though so I get maximum height. Nice little void space under here as well to put things I want hidden

The frame is pretty much done. Far from perfect, but it's gonna work.

ill say it like i always say it. F##K the DD-1. I don't care if you or anyone buys one. (well i do, but that isn't my point) Get an O-scope in the very minimum and learn how to use it or you are just guessing your settings like every other noob. :) once you master the O-scope then step up to a DD-1 or even better a DD-1 Plus.
