Experimenting with wheel and tire size.

Seeing what will fit seeing how low the rear is, the front is easy, once I get rims I'll lower it to suit.

The rear soaks up these 9.5s piece of cake.

These aren't mine, just for a test fit.

The second pic it's pretty much sitting on the battery tray at the rear... lol

Yes I know the front fitment is a little Mexican, but when it's lowered they will camber in perfect I'm thinking

These are just test fit rims anyway

Even though there's only four subs, I like to label everything neatly, this heatshrink is a good idea so I can keep an eye on what's going on.

I threw two subs in just for an idea on how things would look..

Okay I've got a little time now to update.

So as you can see in the previous pics, I high filled the baffles and sprayed them in 'I thought that was primer not the final coat' as my mate Dave called it, beige.

I also trimmed around the box in beige carpet, it's not a 100% match although it still looks better than MDF and fibreglass drips.


Then it was time to fit the panel over the fuel pump access hole.

Please excuse the wonky jigsaw cuts, it's hidden anyway.



Then time to add some of this





Time to install it, yours truly inside the box. It was a squeeze.

At this point in time I realised some of the paint inside is still tacky

I love this impact gun, killer for screws

A bit of foil tape over the top to make it kinda flat.

Last sub installed, had to unscrew the rear of the console and shift it to the side to get it in, easy.
