Currently with my amp I don't have a scope or dd1 so I matched gains as accurate as I could by input voltage and the clipping indicator on the bass knob. Before the clip light goes off it drops as much as 1v. When the clipping light is going it drops as much as 1.7v. It does not seem to change with or without my rear battery installed. I didn't think it should drop that much with what I'm running. 2017 Honda Accord Touring Build coming soon

I don't know what your running but most people are happy to stay above battery voltage. I personally on a total of 3400-3800rms I'll be happy to stay above 13v. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
shepherd92683 Posted July 13, 2014 Author Report Posted July 13, 2014 Can't do a proper big 3 on my vehicle because it has rvc but the wires that could be upgraded have been. If my voltage decides to float at 14.2, at full tilt will go down to 12.5 and if it floats at 13.6 then will drop to about 12. I have no answer other than the way rvc works for the change between the 13.6-14.2 voltage fluctuation.
