Well i think your build has inspired me and i think i'm gonna run two e-15s in the trunk of my jetta when i have the funds, also it been almost a week since you've updated, you get the 4th sub yet!

Yeah I finally got it Thursday. I've had a ton of big jobs at work and being as they stack jobs I've worked a lot of 12+ hour days last week. Work on the box Friday night and hopefully get it in and playing this week. Fingers crossed ill post pictures of that I've done so far

Nice build! Are they Ridgid tools putting in work. I've been looking at a drill/driver and impact set.

Honestly I hate them. They are my home drills and. I use makita for my work drills. Yes they cost almost double but I would buy them again any day. The battery life on the ridgids can't even come close to the makita. I build Custon cabinets for a living and the battery on the makita last a good 4 days with heavy long usage. The ridgid on the other hand last maybe a day at best.

The only benifit to the ridgid is the life time warranty. But if you have to send it in all the tkme like I did it's quite frustrating.

Makita brushless set if well worth the money. After using them even if the price went up $200 I would still buy them again.

I'll have to keep looking into it. The xs power seems to be the best as far as performance but the cost is a little high. But if it's gonna last 4 to 5 years it's worth the investment

Sorry for the long wait on the update guys. I'm very busy at work and we are down a guy so I'm putting in a lot of overtime. I finally for the 4th sub. So I'm gonna try my best to get it in and playing next week. Here what I did Friday night

I started on the threaded rod. Used a Forsner bit to so the bolt and washer were flush. And then used a double bolt so that it would be harder for it to come loose and really cranked away untill I felt there was no way it could come loose. The thread rods that over lap are weaved through so it they hold even tighter and then I went one extra step and using saftey wire to keep them from rubbing or slapping together.

I might go pick up some fiberglass cloth and wrap it where they intersect and resin in for an even tighter bond.

And finally before I was done I filled all the screw holes as I've seen people having issues with screws coming loose from the intents vibration hopefully then will just be another extra strength thing so I can stop that from happening.

In thinking about wrapping the face in black vynal so I can show off the nice rounded edges in the baffle. That's mainly why I filled the holes on the face.

and then got all the holes filled and sanded on the box and started with the paint. Now I just wanna say this now....I have never beeen very good at body work. so im going to go with a hammered look or might even end up using bedliner. every thing else will be carpeted.

I'm happy with the outcome so far. Ive still got a lot of work to go but it should be well worth it. I figured it gonna be in my truck for a whike do I want something I'm not ashamed to show off. I'm a carpenter by trade and I can't stand to look at half rate work. Thanks for the comment. Nice to get reassurance that I'm doing good work because after all I'm my own worst critic
