Will a 370 Amp Mechman Alt handle this?

When I say handle this I mean pretty well...

So there I was, with my new Audioque 3500.1 wired down to two ohms bumping all day having fun and dropping into the 12.8s and so forth, bad things were happening. My stock alternator finally gave out and I now realize how foolish I was and see the need for the upgrade. I'm planning on buying the 370 Amp Mechman and wiring my AQ 3500.1 down to 0.5 ohms and going easy on the gain so I do not destroy my ZVXs ("3k RMS" total power handling for the pair) my questions are------

1. Will this alternator be enough backed up by my 320 AH of batteries I currently have?

2. How easy will I have to be on my subs (I would prefer not to blow them)?

3. Wassup :)

Thanks

What vehicle?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Yeah man, that sounds good to me.

I run a Single DC 240XP in my system, which is power 24k, 1200amps of current pull, and 10 batteries. I stay at 12.83 full tilt. So for you scenario, the 370 would be plenty. Also, those alts are tanks!! A few locals are running those 370s with great success.

why wire it to 0.5 and go easy on the gain? just wire it at 2 ohms. what you will gain in amperage you will lose in efficiency from the amp.. if you want more power get a bigger amp

people who trust that electrical. do you even know what batteries he has?

if its 3 d3100 yes.. maybe even northstar

any other brand and he might as well light up his gear now.. chances are he is running off brand batteries since he didnt post brands
