Swordlordboy1234
So I was brainstorming thinking how to rid or limit door flex, and I was thinking weight. But then I remembered the neo magnets meade used in applications. So I google searched it. I'm thinking a few (3-5 per) in my rear doors will help stop the flex. If I use 2500 lb epoxy to secure them on to a part of my door that will contact or be in close contact with each other then would these work? Now that I think about it I think I need two magnets one on the body one on the door for it to work. So I might have to go with thinner neo magnets. But what are your thoughts? http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DFH2 My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail.... Swordlordboy1234
Bolting it would be putting me out of stock class and into super mod really quick. 148db vs 164db. REH
I really don't think they would help much with your doors flexing. I think that for it to work for that... You'd have to have enough of them shoved in there that you'd really be having a hard time even getting the door open when you actually want to open it. I could be wrong though, but the kind of pressure that those doors have against them when they're really flexing seems like more than what magnets could really combat, and still be able to get the door to open. Swordlordboy1234
I'm seriously considering it. It wouldn't be to make my rear doors unmovable. It would simply be to put 30-50 lbs of extra force on my rear doors since they are my most dominate flex issue ATM, but I'm sure once I fix that my attention will re focus on another one. This one I'm thinking 2 or 3 sets of neo magnets per door. Each set would give about 16 to 18 lbs of force... So 3 sets would be 50 to 60 lbs of extra force. Will my rear doors suck to open? Sure. But It will only suck for the random friends who try to open them lol. I also think placement of these magnets is key rather then just grouping them all together. I'm thinking bottom top and middle all on the outer most points on the latch side of my door. Your the second person to say this. My friend David said that I'd need a crap ton of deadener in the doors, and maybe the magnets combined with the deadener would give me slightly better results. I was trying to gauge how much I could put on my door and still consider it openable. Not easy opening like a normal door. But....The passenger side has some flex, not horrible. The driver has horrible flex, due to my b pillar and driver side doors being from a different accord and her having some shitty cheap body work. So I was kinda trying to combat that a little. I was even considering maybe like 3 sets on the driver side and 1 set on the passenger side with bunches of deadener in each door. But then my OCD kinda kicked in. n8ball2013
those magnets are stronger than you realize.
