Might want to look at your policy, your insurance shouldn't go up, but filing a claim may count as points against you and could mean higher rates in the future.

As far as the deductable goes that is how it works, you are responsible for paying that. If you had $0 deductable your payments would be insane!

If you are paying a deductible then you filed a claim. If you have uninsured coverage it shouldn't count against you. Your insurance company will do what they can to get your deductible paid back to you.
