BAGGEDBIRDS.com
So i was doing my door work last weekend and i had the key on acc. so i could get the door glass back in the door. Well i guess i left it on. the yellow top is down to 3 volts. can it be saved? how? I only have a little charger that max's at 6 amp and it keeps "faulting". LooneyG
You should try to give it a 20 ~ 25 Amp Charge for about an Hour or Two I've had to do this before and then once and if you get a decent Voltage reading give it a 1 or 2 Amp overnight just to top it off Edited March 28, 2008 by LooneyG Quote "If someone aint hatin' on you, your doing something Wrong !!!" Clif
x2 on the jumping of the car, it usually works for me. My chime went out and yea do i need to say more? I would jump it and let it run for a while and it will be fine. Or go to like an oriely auto parts and bring the bat in there and be like can i get my batery tested? and they will charge it up before they test it. droopy89
Not to be a smartass or anything, but at my work, O'Reillys, we can test it to see its charge voltage, %of charge, then we will put it on the charger, after all that, well know if its good or not. dbmonster
yellow tops are deep cycle, which means thay are designed to be able to be completely drained and then charge right back up no problem. so it should be fine. i've had a big yellow top (the ones for 18 wheelers) for over 4 years and its been drained below 6 volts severel times and charges back up just fine every time Edited March 30, 2008 by dbmonster Quote '05 escalade - now for sale '96 civic hatch - 4 Sundown SA-8's on an Aq2200d TL numbers coming soon '00 suburban - 4 AQ sdc2.5 15's on 2 Aq2200d's 153.1db @ 40hz / 150+db on music now retired
