Charger
Thanks guys Got the last trim panel in this afternoon, it's starting to look pretty neat and I can't wait to see how it looks with the subs in It's all pretty solid now, just need to add fibreglass to the inside to finish the enclosure. Charger
Did a little bit of glassing this afternoon. Don't want any flex in this bitch so I'm making it all as strong as possible. I'm using 450g matting, so far it has five layers in some places but need to build up other parts which are only two or so.. I can already feel it's gotten stronger. I'm no professional glasser but I'm learning, I've got it all pretty flat with only a few bubbles. First I stripped off all the flaky rust and siht. Then scuffed it all back to almost bare metal so the glass will stick like nothing. I don't want this to be removable. Then I started throwing matting on, no commentary needed here, pretty self explanatory. Hopefully finish the wheel arches tonight so I can get high tomorrow brushing resin over the rest of the enclosure to seal it up completely and smooth it all out. Then I can put some wiring in and finally put the back of the box on. Cheers for reading!
