khinds94 Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 I'm thinking it's a combo of the cabin and might be tuned lower than you think. Smoove Posted October 16, 2014 Author Report Posted October 16, 2014 R you limited in power for your class or something? Add more power and that bish will get loud. Only power I'm limited to is my check book. I have a second T2000 going in a few weeks. For meca I will be in Radical X cause my amps will be infront of the b pillar We will put out through the IM-SG this weekend if you'd like It's a good number and it feels great inside the truck. I think it will really wake up when the second amp goes in and both are running at 1 ohm. I still think they may be begging for more power Lets get'er done We will put out through the IM-SG this weekend if you'd like It's a good number and it feels great inside the truck. It is VERY VERY sensitve. Read the directions, and you see exactly what that bitch is doing. I think you may just be surprised. Sealing is gonna be fun. I havent sealed the blowthrough. you can feel air moving into the bed. 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/
P4killer_ Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 Also sweeps dont tell the whole story. They give you a ball park. Then you go through individual tones and see. Using the spectrum analyzer you can kinda see if you should go up a freq or not, but I usually do a +-5hz anyway. Also temp of the equipment is a factor, once youve got 15 burps or w.e on em from cold ive seen a couple tenths here or there .. Spl is a finicky bitch. Check your box to make sure ot hasnt shifted or the port come loose especially if an aero port when most ppl tape em during testing. I will say, you should use the same level tones throughout. Dont switch from a 30hz -5db to a 30hz -10db bc obviously theres gonna be a difference there. If your testing spl EVERYTHING ELSE, has to remain the exact same. If not, the data in this case spl, is inconclusive. Which is bad. CleanSierra Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 It makes me think I may have to tune my 4th bandpass closer to 50s than mid 40s due to the cabin. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Smoove Posted October 20, 2014 Author Report Posted October 20, 2014 Well the IM-SG has the bix tuned at 31 and I if I remeber correctly it peaked at 30 and 43.
