OrionStang Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Speaker wire out from amp to a relay at the dash. You can have the signal come in, then 3 or 4 or however many switched outputs to the enclosures. There is the danger of accidentally turning on more than one at a time. This is where Tony's expertise comes in. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Motorboat KER Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Could tell him to get a ohm load that allows him to run his amps right Misunderstood it Nate. Its ment to swap woofers on the fly. Example... Listen to this JL w3 8... Now listen to this dd redline 500 series 10. Now listen to this illusion carbon series 12. That's what he does on demos to sell people stuff, and he wanted a better way to do it besides getting out and swapping wires. Wouldn't you need different amps for each set up if they are different RMS? I would imagine you can just have various remote wires that run through switches that can turn on and turn off amps as needed. You misunderstood too. There is a single JL 5 channel on multiple sub set ups. This is a sales tactic to hear the different subs on the same power in the same vehicle. Example. Guy walks in, and wants to hear how the JL preloaded dual 8's sound vs say a preloaded DD redline 12 since they are in a similar price range. Ect ect ect. Put switches on the speaker wire? Have the subs all hooked into seperate speaker cable, run through a switch and then into the amp?

timc31610 Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Could easily be done with some simple rocker switches. Just be sure that no more than one at a time are on. TRON Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Relay board is the safest way. Honestly, if it something they he uses a lot, get something that will do the job right, and last a long time. _paralyzed_ Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 This is only rated to 250 watts, but if only used for a short demo would probably work- http://www.crutchfield.com/p_190HPS6/Niles-HPS-6.html?tp=2997&awkw=75640886065&awat=pla&awnw=g&awcr=47636985745&awdv=c
