Wicks
If you're curious about what impedance does at different frequencies, here's a sweep I did on mine: As you can see impedance and phase change drastically with frequency. Good if your competing and need the exact impedance at a certain frequency but as mentioned above, not necessary for daily bumping. BTW this plot above changes even more with: -window open -windows open -door open -doors open -empty passenger seat -full passenger seat -closed air vents -sun visors down -etc..... You could sweep your impedance at one point in time but chances are later down the road, with different conditions, it will be different. For ease of use and convenience I'd highly suggest the IMSG, awesome tool in one package. mcfalcon
I would call having a legitimate question and asking on our forum would be " interactive research". If you have the knowledge but dont want to help people then stay off the threads of people asking for help. Still learning but have started gathering. Ahmed Johnson
Me, I call it being lazy and letting others tell you what they think. It's always best to start research with your own basic knowledge before asking others who have experimented for their opinion.

Broke_Audio_Addict
Op still has yet to answer why he cares. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. ShadowStar
Impedance rise is a concern if you need to conjugate it out to present a flat load to a passive network or if you believe you can add additional amplifier channel in the form of bridging based on a higher impedance and thus lower current demand at a particular burp frequency. For all other matters it is data worth nothing and I suggest you look at group delay instead. Having said that, a simple current meter, volt meter, known resistance and a track of test tones will allow you to create a simple spreadsheet showing impedance with very little money spent. If you are concerned with impedance over 100hz, various testing tools such as the LMS I use, sound easy, Dayton audio tester, Clio and others exist at small to significant investment. Kyblack76
I can already tell your over your head. Good luck. If I was you, the last thing I'd do is worry about what you think you should. Jessica
I want to know more about group delay. Heard it before but haven't done much research. Maybe when I get home from work tonight.
