bcbrassard Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 I dont not carry anyone in the back besides my 8 month old baby. Of course i wont have anything on when shes in the car. But i was looking to also get an amp for the door speakers as well. 2 or 4 channel dont care which ever would work better. And iv looked into the xs power battery but not sure which one to get and which one will fit my car. And i planned on doing the big 3 but i kinda of know how to do it but then again i dont do anything unless i know i can do it right for sure Well i would go coax in rear door of HU power if anything at all back there then. Then a 2 ch amp for front speakers. helps on budget too. XS website should have a program to help figure out which battery will fit and work best for your power needs. Youtube Big 3, super easy to do yourself.
bcbrassard Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 So, do you have a local audio store near you that you can hear different speakers to decide which ones sound good to you? Sound is subjective to each persons taste. I like lots of mid & midbass with smooths highs. I installed infinity's once and hated them. So hard for us to tell you what you like, all we can suggest is speakers with in your budget for you to try and listen to.

It's a tight fit but D4700 fits up front, just have to get a new tie down. Big 3 is easy just a little tricky with the alt placement on the newer focus. Very small amount of room to reach your hands down there, yeah it's annoying as hell, but you'll get it lol

I know on my Lancer it was easier to jack the car up to get to the alt from under neath than from the top.
JP-12 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 Yeah I have a log, but I'm still learning ALOT as well so I won't be too much help. And I tried from under the car. It doesn't help on this one lol
