reedal Posted December 2, 2014 Report Share Posted December 2, 2014 That kit should be fine for 1200w, I've used shittier 4ga wire for my kicker cx1200.1 and it was fine for two years before I upgraded to 1/0 for my new amp. I would suggest going with 1/0 and some input reducers though because even though you might not plan on upgrading now, at some point you'll get used to what bass you have and want more and you'll spend more money on more wire. It's easier to just do it once.
