i think i am around 4 to 500?

about 4 sheets of MDF, 2x4's, extra battery, 4 sa 12's , 4 amps. and the spare tire.

not sure what the car is rated for. But these older honda werent built for hauling much weight. lol

I'm over mine by about 50lbs. Not much to speak of on my end other than the expected reduction in fuel economy and acceleration. On the plus side I don't hydroplane as easily

The main concern is the longevity of the bearings and struts in the back, also you have to factor in the max load rating of the tires so go out and check your sidewalls.

I wouldnt be as concerned about exceeding the axle rating but the tire rating because you dont want to have a blow out

Shocks what are those?

My axel rides the bottom frame rails the bump stops didnt last very long at all... LOL

I really need to do something about it tho. At least its not my daily driver

tires have a max load rating, typically designated by load range P= passenger D, E

you dont want to operate normally above the working load rating for safety reasons
