The XS Power d3100s are stronger than the hc2400s However I don't feel 4 d3100s will compare to 8 hc2400s if you buy 6 more and use the 2 you already got. Now if you had bought 6 d3100s they would go pretty much head to head with those 8 kinetiks, it be very close. Since your 2 kinetiks are already installed and are in good working order I cant see replacing them budget wise. Right now in my truck I have voltage drop to the high 12s low 13s playing music full tilt. My electrical setup is: 3 DC Power 390XP alternators. 2 XS Power S3400s under the hood, 5 XS Power D3100s in the rear. 9 positive 9 negative runs of 1/0 front to back. Big 3 is done on steroids with 2 positive and 3 negatives 1/0 from each alternator. All that powering 2 Sundown SAZ-4500s wired at about .5 each. Also this is a VS thread so its getting locked.
