2 separate boxes vs one big box

Could eliminate any possible phase/loading issues with separate chambers. That's usually only an issue with larger enclosures though, unless you have a poorly designed box.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

Two separate boxes only if it's a space issue getting them into the vehicle, ie big trunk with a small opening. Otherwise, I do one big box, common chamber, common port.

That's my preference at least.

So basically just convenience is the only reason to do separate boxes?

Bear in mind that his baffle is not flat, he probably decided to do it in two steps because of that.
