Trunk/Hatch/Backseat/etc. Priorities

This'll probably spill over into the "enclosures" forum, but what about a down facing box in my hatchback? 2009 Dodge Caliber.

Like, the box acting as the new floor type of deal. I could fit a few more subs in the car and maintain the same-ish cargo space. Thoughts?

2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver)

Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS

Amps: RF P1000X5

Front: RF P16-S

Rear: RF P1694

Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10

Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire.

Single 8" in a 4th order port facing up. Sub is completely protected, just use a speaker material to cover the port opening so that nothing get in it.

mine has the v10 :( but with a simple square shell fourth for six 15s I have fiveish feet behind the wall and the seats still go all the way back :good:

HATE Ford's alt placement on Mod Motors.... B pillar I'm guessing? I'd hate to lose all that seating by B-pillaring an Excursion lol. C-pillar tow pig ftw

Lol wut. My 4.6 is literally the easiest alt I've ever mucked with. Front and center.
