RooTxBeeR
Swapping or hear doesn't cost that much. ScamDo you know how much it cost to run a shop? No, but I'm a person who doesn't capitalize on noobs like this shop owner. What legit shop would install tweets and co-axial speakers. Scam. Broke_Audio_Addict
A shop will install anything you ask for. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. No, but I'm a person who doesn't capitalize on noobs like this shop owner. What legit shop would install tweets and co-axial speakers. Scam. I asked for C2's. They have a demo area where you can listen to what you want before you buy it. I loved the sound the c2's made. He told me how the tweeter on the speaker would be muffled since its down by my knees and legs. I asked him to throw in some tweets then. He did. And remember, i havent bought anything. we were just brainstorming ideas and prices. jk13
You'd be surprised what we've seen come out of other shops. And the amount of customers that come in and ask for just that is large. Same as on here, there must have been half a dozen "will this work" threads in the last week or so asking about coax with component sets and extra tweeters. Many shops get tired of constantly educating and just say fuck it, let's do it. Certainly not correct, but I see how they got that way. Gets real tiresome going through the same lessons day after day sometimes. Static drops are my bag.

TeamHT
I definitely do not agree with the muffled sound because of low door placement Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

jk13
Did they not have C2 component sets? That's what they should have showed you next. Same tonal qualities, gets the tweeter up where you'd prefer, and works as one unit. Plus cheaper than a C2 coax and C2 tweeters separately. I also disagree with the statement of it being "muffled" by being in the factory door location. However I do prefer tweeters low on the A pillars in that truck. Aimed at the rearview mirror. Personal preference for me because I use my trucks for road trips and daily use. Static drops are my bag.

He gave me options of what i wanted (coax, comp, amps, etc...) and i picked and he wrote it up on the computer.
