Triticum Agricolam Posted January 23, 2015 Report Posted January 23, 2015 How much port area does the box have? "Nothing prevents people from knowing the truth more than the belief they already know it.""Making bass is easy, making music is the hard part."Builds:
d-nice88 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Report Posted January 23, 2015 Box dimensions are 28" deep 39" wide 16" tall port is 14.50" tall 3.00" wide and 32.55" long got the design from mark at car audio fabrication
Jeff4661 Posted January 23, 2015 Report Posted January 23, 2015 Seems like it still isn't enough port area.. Current build 05 Yukon SLT http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/195350-jeffs-05-yukong-wall-build/
Triticum Agricolam Posted January 23, 2015 Report Posted January 23, 2015 Seems like it still isn't enough port area.. Yeah nowhere near enough. Is there only one port or is there two? Somethings not right about those specs. That's about half the port area you would need, and it would tune that box to about 20 Hz. Joe X Posted January 23, 2015 Report Posted January 23, 2015 Box dimensions are 28" deep 39" wide 16" tall port is 14.50" tall 3.00" wide and 32.55" long got the design from mark at car audio fabrication You need to get a design after you decide on the subs man.
d-nice88 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Report Posted January 23, 2015 Well the demendions I gave for the box is all the space I can use and the box barely squeezes in the trunk
d-nice88 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Report Posted January 23, 2015 I tryes to type a lil pic but it didnt come out right but its just a slot port with the subs in the same chamber not with a piece of mdf in the middle of the port to keep them separate
