rockFord_Expedition's Rebuild (Old School RF, SMD/D'Amore, CE Auto Electric, DC Power, XS Power, SHCA) lots of pics inside

Moving on to the enclosure. Don't expect much, it's solid but not too pretty, I was building this while I was caring for my mom 24/7 before she passed and more often than not I would have to stop right in the middle of a step to take care of one thing or another.

Well, the router got me. BUT it was only the wrench while changing bits. I'll call myself lucky. I guess no build is complete until you've shed blood right?

Thanks to those of you following. I know it isn't a very exciting build, but it is a huge reason I still have some sanity left in me, so it means a ton to me.

Some more port work:

I am not great at glasswork, especially compared to many of you guys but I wanted to add some strength to this joint. The box will only see 1500w RMS in a perfect world and realistically much less than that, but I wanted to make it so this thing could take 10x the power and have no flex, and take a little pride in the structural strength and integrity of this thing.

Now some work on the port opening. My goal here was to make it difficult to tell that there are actually 5 different pieces of wood coming together at this point. SO I flipped it over after all the glass dried and hit it with a flush trim bit. then another 1/2" roundover for the opening. A little body filler, sanding, prime and paint and she was good to go, at least IMO
