Mosley_23 Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 I need some subwoofers that work really good in small spaces. My trunk is big but the openings to get a sub box in there isnt. I was looking at the soundqubed HDS3s but they like bigger boxes so that wouldnt work. So now im looking at the NVX VCW12s just because the have a custom prefab box made just for them that isnt to big. And id rather use a decent prefab box then pay more for a custom because its just for daily use
daimer Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 As far as I know, the DSS Ethos likes small eclosures, but I'm not sure if they have them in stock. IMO whatever you choose, it would just be a waste putting it in a prefab box. Ahmed Johnson Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 I'm about to get flamed but the best subs I had that worked in a small pre fab was the pioneer ts-w3002. You're gonna have to find used because I don't think they make them anymore.

bcbrassard Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Ya, your down fall is wanting to use a prefab boxes. Build an enclosure right and power it properly and speakers will sound good.
