What subs work best in small enclosures?

I need some subwoofers that work really good in small spaces. My trunk is big but the openings to get a sub box in there isnt. I was looking at the soundqubed HDS3s but they like bigger boxes so that wouldnt work. So now im looking at the NVX VCW12s just because the have a custom prefab box made just for them that isnt to big.

And id rather use a decent prefab box then pay more for a custom because its just for daily use

As far as I know, the DSS Ethos likes small eclosures, but I'm not sure if they have them in stock. IMO whatever you choose, it would just be a waste putting it in a prefab box.

Sundown Zv3 and NSv2... or the DSS Ethos.

Also, XLs are known to have worked "alright" in small boxes.

get 8 inch subs.. sundown sa 8v2

if your trunk is big why not build the box in the trunk and get 15" would make it harder for thieves to slide it out

You can make most subwoofers work well in smaller enclosures, provided you build them right.
