meade916
I must of wrote something wrong I know all this. what I was trying to say is that I want my mids to play 55 to 60 hertz and UP so the mid does not recieve a signal less than 60 hertz. Same with the Tweet why would you run a tweeter at less than 3,000 hertz that might blow it from it recieving to much low frequency information.(tweeter dependent of course) Do you see what I'm saying or am I still not making any sense. no your still not on the right track......ok you want 60hz on your midbass that is mainly your only problem since the lowest it will "start" is 75hz. Your tweets should be fine because even if you set it to 75hz at the lowest "start" point it should play everything past 2000. If you set it at 2000, it wont play anything lower then 2000 but everything above it and your tweets will be fine. meade916
honestly though, you dont need your midbass starting at 55 or 60.....75 is plenty low. I would have my subs at 80 and down and set your mids and highs 75 and up... All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! ISO
I'm not a NOOB and I think any audiophile would agree with me on my question.(except the part about a tweeter. they might want to go lower than 3,000 hertz but you really need a very high quality tweeter.) Meade I don't want to get banned but the tread jack between you and accordman has trashed my thread, so if Jacob looks at my thread about his product and one consumers concerns he has to go through a whole page of 2 guys arguing. I started to look at this forum becuase I thought I was dealing with more profesional people. P.S. I hate to have to inform everyone here but there is no one and I mean NO ONE that knows it all. EricR
get one 100.2 for mids and one 100.2 for highs and a 360.2 and problem solved i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? AI James
you started it smart ass.......all i ask is that if a MANUFACTURER gets their own section, that THEY man it. YOu want to get smart with me, i get smart right the fuck back but you get your feelings hurt too easy. seriously, tell me, what does it take to become a rep? I remember Elvis calling me 20 times and asking on ROE how to hook up his amps and set his gains. Thats fine to ask, thats what were here for, but if i have a company, then my reps know what the fuck their doing....../story. elvis is a dealer not a rep. any information i dont know i get from the owner himself. i didnt even post in his strapping thread and i wasnt called at all and asked anything. as for elvis also seems his rep is aubrey since hes in northern ca. but he has my number.
