ChevyBoy95 Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 OP, 1 8 doing a 150+ is in a CRX and a burp box aka one note wonder, meaning it will basically play 1 note well, which is the one it did the 150+ at. Realistically 2 8's in what seems or is leading to be an underseat box on 2000w, would probably be in the 140 dB area. It might not be the best, but in my ext cab (1995), it took a 7kw amp and 2 15's in an 11 cube box (150.2 @ 35) Honestly if you are looking to enjoy some thump on the way to work and back, 2 8's on 2kw would be great in a nicely made/designed box. But it wont do a 150. I wouldn't worry about numbers if it is a daily music truck.
