I'm barely hitting 151 DB in My 2003 GMC sierra 2500hd EXT cab, two 15" Vibe Black Death woofers on 5000wRMS (1 ohm).... And yes, I do have plenty of power. Boxes aren't built to match the woofers at all. With 1 single 15" I'm hitting 144 DB @ 7000w rms (0.5 ohm) But the woofers are way to small for my amp, rated at 2500w rms & 5000w max....

My truck has a ton of soundproofing, doors, roof floor +++ Two 0 gauge cables from the alternator (185a idle 280a high idle) and front two stinger red top batteries, to the rear red top stinger battery and two 10 farad caps., four 0 gauge cables going two the amp.

I don't own a term lab, but I do have a DB meter built into the epicenter in dash bass restoration thingy..http://www.audiocontrol.com/car-audio/the-epicenter-processors/epicenter-indash/l It's placed under the center console @ knee high, I know it's not the best out there, and I know I should be measuring @ the windscreen, but at least it's an indication. I often catch myself hitting 138 DB listening to music :P I do try to keep it under 120 db, but you guys know... :P
