Well PHUCK! Hoping I can just get some more CA under it and respray the activator and get it to stick back down. I know it's my fault it did it, but I think the glue was going bad too so I don't know exactly who is at fault. Fingers crossed getting more CA down will do the trick.

I haven't had a ton of time to work on this thing. I did run into a small hiccup though. The cage didn't fit perfectly, but I also didn't account for the amount past the back of the cage the radio would stick out. I ended up having to cut out the top portion of the shape I had and then add a piece of foam and reshape it. Once I did that I taped over the entire shape and threw a layer of chop mat down over it. My plan is to let that layer cure and then pull it from the masking tape and then actually resin that shape down to the original shape and then reinforce it. Minor setback, but I'm in no huge hurry for it.

So I've been holding back on some pictures and updates.

Friday I got the new headunit in.

And after a test fit, it didn't fit. I ended up having to cut slots in the shape again and reshape slightly, nothing too major though. While I was waiting on that fiberglass to set up I started working on the front section. I've made a lot of progress this weekend.

I'm gonna try and get the fiberglass sanded down and maybe get some filler on it tomorrow. Don't think I'm gonna be where I would like to have been, but I did make a lot of progress none the less.

Any updates on the woofer? Did you get it glued back down or you haven't messed with it yet?

It's still sitting at my buddy's house in his garage. I need to go get it. I'm assuming it will be OK. I made a rookie mistake when I did the recone. We Re-CA'd the hell outta the landing.

So the mount has been put on the back burner for the moment due to the absolute bitter cold we have seen here recently, plus I want to get some input from my buddy who helps with my installs to make sure I get it right this time.

I've also got some big plans for this year. Subs will be changing. Pretty excited about the new ones that will be going in. I also got some pretty awesome news today going forward into this audio season. I'm gonna have a lot of work ahead of me to make a good impression.
