What Island said.....disconnect that NOW before that thing goes up in flames and get some reducers.

i had some jl audio amps that did the same thing, but it was my fault at the time, i was using 8 gauge wire and it would get too hot, but usually the real problem was my ground. i would never ground it correctly, meaning i would not use a bolt with a ring terminal or sand down the paint. i say check your ground, and get some 1/0 to 4 gauge reducers, that should fix it

if your positive on that. how tight is that screw that holds wire at the jl audio amp?/ reducers will just help so you know you have a good connection and its not touching one another . but if its tight already it wont really do nothing
