I wasn't sure if the newer amp technologies provided a better sound or not which is why I was curious. If you notice a difference, Kyle will quit drinking bud light. Get me? r.sok
I've never had a chance to check out competitions & sit in a true sq car before. My front speakers are more 6 3/4 size. The mid range is very strong & pronounced but I feel like I'm missing a (warm) sound. It's not harsh by any means

ALPINE408
I suggest the jbl_ms8 processor it's noob friendly you need to be full active to take advantage... Meaning no passive xovers Do you have passive xovers now? Have you ever had your woofers blown?
White Lightning
Through my oem wiring" since my oem amp was located in the trunk I mounted my crossovers there as well. It made for a really easy install This is one of your main problems. Stock wiring is no better than the amplifier that was there. You need true RCA cables and better grade speaker wire. RooTxBeeR
I would keep that amp. I have noticed a real difference in quality from old school amps to more modern middle line amplifiers. What speakers are you running by the way? I don't think I read what you're running. Edit: Didn't even see cable guy, that is a must. Also, how is your front set of speakers crossed over? Passive or Active? On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol.
