aculous Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 actually I changed my mind. Nothing but old school Orion or Rockford. so like...10 of them. since we're asking ridiculous questions tonight. And three hookers while you're at it. All named Bernise. That will do nothing but call you "jingles" and serve you pudding.

poorfish88 Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 If I was going to drop 1200 on I single sub, it be a Neo for sure. I'm tired of 100pound subs my hands can't take it.

Broke_Audio_Addict Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Is there a specific goal you are after or just want to know what we would spend the money on? I'd buy two SI mag v3's and spend the rest on a nice 2 channel ab class amp. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

aculous Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 forget about blues audio... I would buy one solid tang band 6.5" woofer and blow the rest on linear power amps

None other than to see if people would stick with the w7...mostly just a for fun question lol I would NEVER spend 1200 on a single W7 no matter what my goals were. JL makes nice stuff, JL has it's place in car audio. 1200 for the performance (Whether SPL or SQ) just no, sorry, if that's your question....then my answer is no. (my opinion) Anyone who says yes then i challenge you to prove it by buying a JL W7 for 1200 and posting up pics...... 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. STEvil Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Sundown Z v4, 15 or 18, can almost get 2 for that price I think... or an ermagerd. Or custom build something. DD something maybe, or some SMD v2's, etc etc etc. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
