Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 I'd do a nice two channel amp and a decent set of components for the front and let the rest stay stock. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 It may be a very involved install seeing that It has a factory amp and im assuming you are staying with the factory headunit. You could grab something like this also which would help elminate the need of a separate processor and you could run the fronts active if you wanted. http://www.amazon.com/JBL-MS-A1004-Watt-4-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B0040X31KE That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
BigManAC Posted May 11, 2015 Author Report Posted May 11, 2015 I actually just installed an aftermarket HU. Clarion FX503 so I still have the front and rear pre-outs available. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

Could be a nightmare to sound good. loud yes, good...?
BigManAC Posted May 11, 2015 Author Report Posted May 11, 2015 Yeah haha no kidding. The first thing he did when he got the car was ask me to put subs in it and now door speakers. The only thing I fret about with door speakers is running the new speaker wires through the door gourmet. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

Thanks for pointing this out. I have no experience with it but reviews have all been good that I've seen been thinking about getting one myself. They make (or made) a matching monoblock too. It's a little power house. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
