Broke_Audio_Addict
I have a battery isolator I'll send you for free if you pay shipping. I'd have to dig it out to be sure but I believe it's a pac 200 amp isolator. Or tell him to quit being cheap and buy the battery. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Yes if its daily driven you are fine to mix. the alternator will be the highest potential and then their resting wont matter.if the car is going to sit longer than 2 weeks then I would disconnect. RooTxBeeR
No. Was 365 shipped I believe. He don't want to spend anymore money though, he just wants to bump now. So eager, to throw everything away because he wants to bump. Now. Right now. SLYentist
He'll be fine. Just keep the wet cell battery under the hood, and the AGM in the cabin or trunk. The problem is each battery rests at different voltages and the one that rests lower will leach the higher resting voltage. Don't store the car for more than 2 weeks or so with the batts connected, as said above. Cables and wires almost never fail; the terminations do.
