Mr DeeBeez
i was just curious if in some cases, sealing off from the trunk would not be as loud as having the box firing toward the trunk lid. I know testing would be the only way to know for sure, but I was just curious if sometimes sealing off was quieter than not. But how did the overall sound come out? Did it sound cleaner? Less car rattles? i know for sure a trunk lid will stop once it's sealed off. I did it with the wall, and the only that changed was the rear doors dont move now, didnt notice any change in cleaner sound. I was suprised... I did a buddies trunk car with a 15" FI BL and changed the sound dramatically. Less trunk rattles day and night. 2004 Bagged Trailblazer (4)18" Sundown Nsv3s (4) Taramps HD10000s, Taramps DSP3000, Lanzar opti 250x2, AB 100x4 (2)DC power SP 270s, (14)XS Power d3100s, (1)d6500

matt14
We sealed off tdsa23's Maxima trunk. Sound was much better and moved a lot more air. Not sure if "louder" since he never got back on the meter. I am currently in a build and I don't think my buddy is to happy. We were expecting to at least have some inner chest, slight pressure to the chest making it a tad fun to breathe. meade916
if aiming forward in a trunk build, sealing off is very important. Plus it sounds better when nothing in back is rattling or vibrating at all but you got a massive amount of bass coming out of the front All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
