Let's just say I have hopes of being boom ready by Saturday... The A pillars still have no real progress but I'll figure that out. Pro tip from a non pro. When you think you want to do A pillars or a custom door of any kind, tell yourself how silly you were and stick with a single component set that you can't hear when the system is full tilt. This A Pillar stuff sucks. i can hear my little 2 way full tilt just fine then again the woofers are on 350 a side and the tweets are on 200 a side lol. well thats before i gained down. i have a fairly small cabin though. all relative. but yea the fab work steered me away from a 3 way if you remember our convos. hopefully its worth it when you are done. The next morning i shaved these A pillar looking things down.. and came up with this. Meh.. it might work. I definitely learned a lot. Zero1 time. got direct leads? So we went working on getting this port sexy. This was the result. Then we did the same to the port. This was english chestnut with 3 coats of clear.
