I double checked everything, I don't get it. Runs fine for about 3 minutes at 14.5 volts then drops low enough that it might stall.. did stall yesterday. Got me, help please. I have work tomorrow and it's a hour each way

When you did the Big 3, did you remove any of the stock wires/connections? When you do the Big 3, most people suggest just adding the wires in addition to ones already there. The only thing I can thing of off the top of my head would be you swapped out the old wires for new, and now something's off

2003 Acura TL type S. I left the stock positive from the Alt. My car had the stock Neg engine to Neg bat. And Neg bat to chassis. I replaced both cause of the bad shape they were in . But it did the same thing yesterday when at the time I only did the 1/0 pos run from alt to batt.

2003 Acura tl type s. It did it yesterday when only replacing the 1/0 positive run from alt to the batt. Today I swapped out the factory battery to chassis ground and engine to battery ground. The engine to battery wire was in bad shape, fraying by the ring terminal. Weird cause most I read about its engine to chassis not engine to battery. Same thing I guess.

Did you clean and grind off your ground locations ?? And let me guess, you connected you positive leads first ...

What I don't wanna admit is when starting work on it yesterday I disconnected the negative battery terminal, and the way my luck go's is I dropped the new positive wire from the alternator and the ring terminal hit the negative battery post, making a spark. Maybe I fuct something up somewhere. Chuckluck is what I call that.I have a Pioneer 80prs. When I turn the key it's at 12volts. When I start it, it's at 14.5.
