Active front stage

I decided to go with a active front stage using raw drivers. I been trying to figure out how I will place the speakers for the best sound quality, a buddy recommended that I go with...

A pillars-3.5 or 4" & tweeter full range

Doors- 8" midbass & 5 1/4" mid range

Kicks- 5 1/4" mid range

Does that make any sense?

a proper head-unit will be needed to run active, or a sound processor. some of the new version head units have very well done software sound processing ( via usb and a laptop/computer ) now.

aside that, your speaker orientation looks good

You would not need the midrange in the kick if you are running a 4" midrange on the a pillar.

Won't need them in the doors either ...

A simple 3 way should work great if installed correctly.

I would ditch the 5 1/4" all together and do the 8" in the kick.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
