LsChevy
I decided to go with a active front stage using raw drivers. I been trying to figure out how I will place the speakers for the best sound quality, a buddy recommended that I go with... A pillars-3.5 or 4" & tweeter full range Doors- 8" midbass & 5 1/4" mid range Kicks- 5 1/4" mid range Does that make any sense?

Agreene
are you planning on working with fiber glass? and that setup should work well. It is similar to the way most people run theirs!

Agreene
a proper head-unit will be needed to run active, or a sound processor. some of the new version head units have very well done software sound processing ( via usb and a laptop/computer ) now. aside that, your speaker orientation looks good
White Lightning
You would not need the midrange in the kick if you are running a 4" midrange on the a pillar. Won't need them in the doors either ... A simple 3 way should work great if installed correctly. I'm running 3 way active front stage in my 07 classic silverado Tweets and 4" fullrange in pillars and 6.5 midbass in door ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

Broke_Audio_Addict
I would ditch the 5 1/4" all together and do the 8" in the kick. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
