Lsufan51 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Report Posted July 24, 2015 Looks like I'm going to go with a singer alt. They have more options. I have a 200 amp fuse in it now. The amp calls for a 300. Could this be making my voltage go that low?

Personally, I know all of my runs are shorter than 20ft, I fuse for the current rating at 20ft. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 No reason to fuse any higher than what your alt can produce and never fuse higher than what the wire can handle. So if your stock alt is 100 amp there is no reason to fuse above that. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
