Personally, I know all of my runs are shorter than 20ft, I fuse for the current rating at 20ft. So if your stock alt is 100 amp there is no reason to fuse above that. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
