bird333
I got a 96 Accord with JL Slash 1000 watt mono amp and a slash 300w 4 channel, 180 amp alt and die hard platinum battery (yes I've done the 'big 3' and did the mod to get full output from the alt). I still get light dimming problems. I guess the next step is a second battery in the trunk. I want to take up as little room as possible. What equipment should I get and how do I do this right? Kyblack76
why are you worried about your lights dimming ? and what alt do you have in a honda that does 180? swap to hid's and you wont dim.. I do dig those slash amps btw edit - putting more reserve may help.. but... ..... the speed of the low end note hitting,.. a cap may be what you want..... a proper one. or just put in HIDs if your that worried about dimming... Have you put a meter on it while playing?? Broke_Audio_Addict
Just so we all know a cap of any kind is not going to stop them dimming and most likely neither will a battery. My voltage drop was around .1-.2 and my lights still dimmed, like kyle said if it bothers you get hids.
