Looking for a simple design for someone to use down here to build a box for a DC Audio level 4 12 that he will be running on a shark 2500... He would like to have the sub inverted and will be in his trunk... Max dims would be 24 high by 48 wide which would be WAY to big but just wanted to put it out there cause i know it would have been asked... Thanks in advance for help...

See if these dims work either subs / port back or forward sealed off, the specs are for the sub not inverted, it will be about 1.9 net with the sub inverted, you should need to check the real output of the amp at the final impedance the sub will be wired to , power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 2 5/8", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

Thanks for the help Joe... I'll will show him this and make sure all is good...

that´s one tiny box!

Yea the single 12 only needs 1.5cu but he does not have deep pockets to run a multi sub system, so a small box it is...

Just because the manual recommends small box doesn´t mean is what you need, you design the box based on the kind of music you like, cabin size, power, etc etc, manual is just something basic recommended for general applications, that´s it! That sub has a low qts and high vas, and since you want "34 hz " tuning then i guess you like to play lows, 2.25 - 2.5 c/f box would MURDER that tiny box below 45 hz in almost any application, you don´t need multiple subs to get loud, single 12" is one of my favorite configurations honestly speaking, but anyways, just trying to help out, cheers!

This box isn't for me... As you can see in my sig I run something a little bit bigger... He has a shark 2500 that will be wired at 2ohm which is just in the butter zone for the sub... As for the style of music, unknown... He is not looking for numbers but for something that will play better than a "thrown together box" that one of his 'boys' built him... As for the DC products I have seen the suggested CU's be just about where they like to be, unless you are going to over power them and then I would go with an even smaller box for woofer control... I came to Joe cause I know his designs are fairly simple to build and I have used one of them for a previous box had used in my truck... I am on a isolated location so getting the proper materials to build a box can even be a little tough... So the box might not be the loudest but just looking for something that is going to do the job and be better than his current one... Again, Thanks Joe...
