Ie this one is the 10k series it supposely does 5k. the 5k series suppose does 2.5 which is what you're thinking of...

hispls Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 The "10,000W" Mt Everest amp appears to have the same board as AB500.1 Cactus 5K, etc. etc. etc. From what I've seen locally the RE amps aren't terrible but are rated at appx. double the power they actually make.

(10k rating) RMS Power Rating: 1 ohm (12.0V): 3400 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm (14.4V): 5000 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm (16.0V): 5900 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm (18.0V): 7500 watts x 1 chan.
