I was thinking the box might be a hair on the small side but that's just me

I might try thinning out your baffle to 2 layers and see where that gets you. The way your box is designed, the center port will act as a huge brace for the top, bottom, and baffle

my dealer had recommended 3-3.5 per driver for a more spl based daily box. Ill be pushing them with around 8-9k daily. i always thought for the most part go a little bit smaller on airspace for better control at higher power levels. If that not correct? Also i was told the thicker baffle help focus the rearward sound wave. there has to be a reason big spl guys build thick baffles....

I had always been under the impression that they like larger boxes, but if your dealer suggested that I'd think they would know better

I'm no designer, but don't DD like tons of port area? Like, tons? I wouldn't trade port area for box space here though, you're already on the small side. 3 net per sounds awfully small.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

To keep the baffle stiff. Not sure about focusing the rear wave.
