It did 247 amps but it was all at 12.3 volts even at high rpms His amp draw is exceeding what the alternator can produce thus you will expect a voltage drop to next source of power. Iirc he is drawing around 500 amps. If he wasn't dropping voltage you wouldn't see the full output potential of the alternator because he would be holding 14.8 volts. Just got some 2/0 ofc sky high for the alt run. Should make her happy. If you held higher voltage you would not see the monster amperage. That alt is doing work. Especially when hot. That thing is doing exactly what it should be doing, and then some.
