Lakeshow94
Getting a zapco z-3kd soon. Currently running a rockford t1500 at a ct sounds meso 15 in 3.25 cubes tuned at 29hz. Outside of watching the woofer as you increase the gain, is there a way you can set the gain to a desired or even estimate wattage (if i only wanted to push 2200-2300 rms at 1 ohm)? I've heard the dmm method is flawed. 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.
Smoove
setting by votlage isnt perfect and for most it's not accurate. Can it be done, yes. Do I recommend everyone try it, no. there are many links on the interwebs about setting by voltage. there are several threads on this forum also. 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/

ToNasty
Sure but you'll have box rise and you won't be getting the full 3000 watts. Plus also depends on how strong your electrical is. You'll be just fine ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

audiofanaticz
with this tool you can actually see the real rms wattage your amplifier is putting out. but just like the Term-lab which breaks peoples hearts by telling the user their system is not as loud as they expected the same can be said with the amm-1 and people buying a 3000wrms amp hooking it up and finding out they are getting drastically less power due to things like impedance rise voltage drop. http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-products/smd-tools/smd-audio-multimeter/smd-audio-multimeter-amm-1.html
