I know they said it needs to be shorter but no one seems to be able to tell me how much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea its all the standard 93/6 rib, i've googled the hell out of it but can't find anything other than links back to SMD for different vehicles
Ahmed Johnson Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 It's up to you to see what works. I'm not sure the auto store will let you try and see which works. When you go to the parts store ask for part number 925k6 for a half inch smaller and part number 920k6 for an inch smaller.

Wasteland_Audio Posted October 12, 2015 Author Report Posted October 12, 2015 Funny enough i just asked the parts guy at the dealership i work at about it and he found one that's 7/8" shorter than stock, ill give that a try and go from there. I'll let you know how it turns out.
