ChevyBoy95
stock size AGM and 3 group 31's, maybe 4 for 6k on 1 alt IMO. I had 3 D3100's, 1 S3400, and a 200a alt and 7k on bass and still hit low 12's. diegoclass2010
I mean I can fit a d3400 or a d3100 under my hood as an example. I'm curious to know how you can fit a 3100 because it's a lot bigger than a 3400 i fitted a D3100 on my car....
diegoclass2010
op X2 what chevyboys said... you might get away with 2 xp3000 in the back and one agm battery in the front... but your probably gonna have short demos at full tilt, that is if you dont mind mind playing below 12volts you might also have to charge your batterys more often

Lakeshow94
I'll keep that in mind. I hit up singer and he said he can do a 320 amp direct bolt on so that helps a bit. I'm gonna start with a xs d 2400 underhood if I can fit it with 2 xp 3000. I guess just add batteries after that until I am happy with voltage (assuming everything else is done correctly). for 6500 will 2 runs of 1/0 be enough? 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.
Lakeshow94
Also is there a reason why on droppin hz it recommends 2-3 xs d3100 in the rear (for a dc 5k) vs 2-3 xp 3000? I was of the understanding if the battery isn't going to be under the hood (reserve bank) the xp series is just as good as the d series just cheaper. 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.

Lakeshow94
yup its been proven when you need battery reserve power xp serious is the way to go over D serious That's what I thought. Droppin hz must have it backwards. They "recommend" 2-3 d3100's in reserve................ 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.
