Sounds like a fun project and sounded nice just with the mock up. Tuned in for how everything turns out.

Jealous.

I wish I had the extra coin to get a pair of the mini horns.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

  • 3 weeks later...

The I.D. horns arrived yesterday!!!!! Like Eric said, I had to cut the back of the horn plate to make them work. They fit like a glove. Now to cut them down a bit.

Though made out of some sort of Poly, they are sorta heavy, bulky and slippery. The only mounting hardware that came with the kit were 2 metal hangers to suspend the driver since that's the heaviest part of the set up.

Here's the comparision based on a 2D image off the internet. Not bad for just eyeballing it! I am off on the slope and depth as you can see.

I was pretty much on target with the mouth of the horn, but way off on these "speed bumps". The I.D. horn are about 1" flat coming from the driver and than flares to the edges, so no real bump. Must have been the images and the use of flash that made me think that.

I only did this because I say Sancheezy's video on I.D. and went to town.

To be mounted soon!!!!

Stay tuned.

I have not had time to get anything done to my truck. I work on a shrimp boat so I might get a half day or a day off at times before I go back to work. I do plan on getting them in by December though. I get on smd when I go to anchor in creeks and not 5 miles offshore.
