feathered1iron
Hey guys, So I am trying to redo my current build by upgrading. I plan to do 2 FI Team 18s or Sp4s with a blowthru on my 05 Escalade EXT: I will have all the required power upgrades needed. With that being said.... For Daily SPl what mids/highs would you all recommend? The shop that has done my current install recommended Focal mids/highs I am open to all suggestions! Thanks for any help its HIGHLY appreciated Current Setup: Mechman 370a Alt 4 pin DC Triple Alt Bracket XS3400 Battery 4 Ampere 6.5 components 4 tweets Ampere 150.4 way Norcal SS Custom 3/5 Lowering Kit with 3inch Lower Control Arms DG Roll Pan LED License Plate Lights
Wasteland_Audio
I assume that you'll be putting them in that escalade you have as your profile pic? If so i just replaced all the "blose" stuff in my suburban with Kicker components with an amp and it sounds a hundred times better and it keeps up (mostly) with my 2 DC Lv6 18's. Keith77
Budget ? Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
feathered1iron
Budget around $3000.00 for mids/high/amp Current Setup: Mechman 370a Alt 4 pin DC Triple Alt Bracket XS3400 Battery 4 Ampere 6.5 components 4 tweets Ampere 150.4 way Norcal SS Custom 3/5 Lowering Kit with 3inch Lower Control Arms DG Roll Pan LED License Plate Lights
notorious97200
I don't think Focal is the way to go if you want to be loud, with all that bass. If you want to sound good, when the bass is turned down a bit : ok, it's a good choice. Take a look at madisound.com, they have nice speakers, and they ship super fast : I ordered a pair of Seas Prestige ER18 on monday, last week, and I got in 2 days. (I'm in a foreign overseas country). I would try 2 pair of mids and a single pair of tweeters (not supertweets!) with a mini-dsp. A single 4 channel amplifier can run everything : 4 x 150 w rms @ 4 Ohms for ex. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
Keith77
Sweet Jesus.. You can do what ever you want with that budget. May I recommend Hertz XL comps Edit: If you are keeping with the Rockford amps I would match it up with a T800-4ad Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston.
