Dont see much torsion box designs in car audio. Should be ridgid as hell.

what do you mean by torsion?

Brent, he's referring to the way you did the roof. That style of lattice bracing is called a torsion design. I think I've discussed with you building an enclosure entirely like how you did the roof on this thing to make it strong and light.

Exactly right. Very rigid and stable design. Downside is it is not as strong as multiple solid laminated layers. Not that you would 5 layer the roof lol. Upside is it uses much less wood and thereby saves money and a lot of weight. Very high strength to weight ratio.

I love woodworking and would do it every day if I could. I'm probably one of the few that has a wall with dados lol. Anyway, carry on.

Sealed area is complete finally and the ported area has been sanded to removed those shit stains the old mallet left behind lol. Today hopefully all the subs will be mounted and internally wired.

Got a bunch of things accomplished today. Got the Battery rack pretty much completed but there will be more to come later also got all 4 subs mounted. For the front cover panel for the batts we have it held on with small Neo magnets its pretty cool i must say

I was really surprised it only took about 15 mins to mount the subs which usually isnt the case with my luck lol

Next week the subs will get wired the loading wall put in and amp rack put in
